We designed a simple typesetting for the event name, then realized that showcasing the actual subject matter - the very 'at-risk' and 'endangered species' that needed protecting - would be the best way to appeal emotionally to perspective patrons. The venue is historically and culturally significant, not to mention visually iconic. Using water as an element gave a better sense of context and helped to fill out the composition providing  space to feature critical information.
The first event was held in 2016, and has continued up until COVID, but plans are to hold it every year.
